The pathologist’s report is in: Theo Silverton(James Cartwright’s) death was not caused by a fall from the scaffolding at the height of Coronation Street murder week; was deliberately hit in the head.
Weatherfield’s premier police position, Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) and The Green Kit (Jacob Roberts), received the news on Monday’s (May 4) episode, with Kit outraged at the possibility that Lisa would ever think what happened was an accident.
On a glossy montage that saw Danielle Silverton (Natalie Anderson) throw flowers at Theo’s death scene, George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) reading an online article about death, Gary Windass (Mikey North) watching dash cam footage of him taking a sledgehammer to Theo’s van and The wizard of wine (Harriet Bibby) reading a page of her diary with the words “Theo is a monster”, Lisa and Kit wondered if Todd’s loved ones might have done the deed.
As the montage cut to Todd, crying in his former apartment while reliving Theo’s most savage and despicable acts, Kit thought that if he had been dehumanized like Todd by a sadist, he would have done the exact same thing, wondering if Todd would have finally fought back.
With the ongoing investigation and questioning, we thought we’d take a closer look at the official suspects.
While each character listed had a motive, who took it a step further and decided to end Theo’s reign of terror for good?
Who killed Theo?

He was released the next day, but a mysterious ‘walk’ he took on the night of Theo’s death remains a big question mark.
Did George finally snap and kill Theo to keep Todd safe?
