After rejecting Iran’s latest offer during peace negotiations, Donald Trump has said that the country “did not pay a big enough price” in the war.
On Social Truth, Trump wrote: “I will soon be reviewing the plan Iran just sent us, but I can’t imagine it would be acceptable…
“They have not yet paid a big enough price for what they have done to humanity and the world over the last 47 years.”
Fears of a collapse of peace talks are growing as Iran and the US cannot agree on the basics of a proposal.

“They want to make a deal, I’m not happy with it, so we’ll see what happens,” he said on CNN.
Despite refusing to rule out further military intervention, when asked if he wanted to burden Iran, the president replied: “I would prefer not to.”

He did not elaborate on what he saw as his shortcomings, but expressed frustration with the Iranian leadership.

Iran’s state news agency IRNA reported that Iran submitted its plan to mediators Pakistan on Thursday night.
The shaky three-week ceasefire between the US and Iran appears to be holding, although the two countries have traded accusations of violations.
It comes after the US has withdrawn 5,000 troops from Germany in a further sign of a growing gap between America and Europe.
The move was a response to German Chancellor Friedrich Merz’s comments that the US was being “humiliated” by Iran.
