ex Manchester United manager sir Alex Ferguson it is learned that he is recovering after being taken to the hospital before the match against Liverpool IN Old Trafford.
The Press Association reports that the 84-year-old is ‘OK’, having sought preliminary medical attention before the 3.30pm kick-off.
Ferguson, a regular at home and away games, was photographed social media meeting guests on the grounds before he began to feel unwell.
Dr Aseem Malhotra, a consultant cardiologist, posted a photo on X, showing Ferguson and her together, outsideand wrote: ‘A privilege, honor and a dream come true to be invited to spend some quality time with Sir Alex Ferguson ahead of the game against Liverpool today at Old Trafford.’
It is understood that he was first evaluated in the ground tunnel area before being transported to the hospital.
