comedian Richard Ayoade was involved in a crash after a woman was hit by a speeding Renault in East Dulwich, London.
He was seen craning his neck as he got out of his Mercedes SUV, which had been hit.

Witnesses in the south-east London neighborhood described the incident, which happened on Saturday afternoon.

A drinker at the East Dulwich Tavern, located near the roundabout where the crash happened, told the publication he was scared Ayoade could have died in the crash.
He explained: ‘Everyone froze at the sound of the twisting metal. It was definitely a bad crash. One of the pedestrians who was hit was then heard screaming.
“It was a complete shock. Many people ran out. It was clear from the aftermath that the Renault had been traveling at high speed.’
Speaking of Ayoade, he said: “He was very calm. He was a victim and he was helping the police. Thank God he was OK.’
Pictured at the scene, Ayoade was seen outside his vehicle in a brown suit jacket with a red bag over his shoulder. He appeared to be pointing and talking animatedly to officers who arrived after the crash.
Another described the scene and said the car ‘at speed’ hit a woman who ‘ended up on the other side of the roundabout’. Then, they said, the Renault crashed into Ayoade’s vehicle before hitting another woman.
Ayoade’s representatives declined to comment on the incident when contacted by Metro.
London Ambulance Service told the media it “treated two women at the scene before taking them to a major trauma centre”.
They also reported that the Met confirmed it has since launched an investigation into the crash at Goose Green roundabout.
Ayoade was later seen walking away from his vehicle with his belongings after the wrecked cars were towed away.
