A plane has crashed into Beijing’s famous CITIC Tower skyscraper, also known as China Zun.

The small plane disintegrated, crashing to the ground after hitting the city’s tallest building, which stands at 109 stories.

It appears from the following footage social media that the skyscraper is undamaged, with police on the scene and the building evacuated around 18:00 local time.

The cause of the crash is unknown, but the entire tail of the plane was found lying on the road, completely intact.
