Oil traders warned that closing the Strait of Hormuz would be a disaster


“Over three months after this conflict, the world has proven surprisingly resilient,” Maria Angelicoussis, chief executive of the Angelicoussis Group, Greece’s largest shipowner by number of vessels, said in rare public comments this week. “Commodity prices are up 50% or 60%, Asian LNG prices are up 90%, but they’re not at the high levels that at least I personally would have expected.”
