When I hear the words Spring Clean, it’s like music to my ears. I’m a big fan of grabbing a pair of marigolds and getting down and dirty, transforming spaces to make them look brand new.
One of my favorite parts has to be the hoovering; picture the scene from Mrs Doubtfire when she’s cleaning the house – that’s me.
I’ve had the same trusty hoover for over seven years, so when I finally gave it up, I was devastated. There are so many great qualities about AirRAM 3 Plus. The first thing I liked was how easy it was to assemble. It was a matter of cleaving three separate parts together, and that was it; was ready to go.
Of course I put it to the test right away, and while it felt a bit heavier than my previous model, the ergonomic handle made it easy to maneuver, with little pressure and effort required to get it to go in the direction you want. The leather fabric around the handle gives it a premium, comfortable feel, making it comfortable to hold when in use.
Additionally, the adjustable height is a huge bonus. No need to give yourself a bad back by bending over. It also makes it perfect for storage as the handle can be shortened to fit into smaller spaces.
When it comes to lifting, it’s equipped with LED headlights so you can see more dirt and dust, ensuring it’s all picked up. The suction is very strong as it only works at full power, so there’s no need to fiddle with settings when transferring from wood, to tiles, to carpet. The double-edged design means nothing can escape its mark, even when you’re up against the edge boards.
I do a lot of stitching, which means there are a lot of loose threads embedded in the rug, which means I had to pick them up by hand as my old hoover couldn’t pick them up; however, to AirRAM 3 Plus it did it without any problems thanks to its anti-hair brush bar. When you look closer, it has softer bristles, which means it can direct hair or fine threads straight into the storage area on the hover head rather than the shaft.
Speaking of the bin, it’s so easy to empty through its simple slide-out opening that means you won’t be emptying half its contents back onto the floor.
One of the most annoying things when flying is when the battery decides to die halfway through. That’s why another aspect I like about the GTech model is that instead of having to plug it in to charge it, it comes with a sleek charging base to store it. That way it will never run out of battery.
Another thing to love, yes, there is more. It’s that after using it for more than five minutes, it uses an automatic cleaning system to disinfect its filter and remove dirt for less maintenance. I was surprised at first as the voice assistant audio announced it was going to happen and I didn’t know it had this feature.
In addition to declaring ‘cleaning filter’, the voice also lets you know when the battery is low and if there’s a blockage, so you can act on it without wondering what’s wrong. A great and smart feature that many other models don’t have.
In general, AirRAM 3 Plus it’s absolutely amazing and has taken the daily chore out of cleaning, making me look forward to tidying up even more. The only downside is that it doesn’t come with any additional hand accessories, but these can be purchased separately with a hand pack.
So if you’re looking for a sign to spruce up your tired hoover, this is it. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.
