Under Pillar One of Aukus, the US will sell Australia three of its Virginia-class nuclear-powered submarines, and the three countries will work to design and build new submarines over the coming decades. Pillar Two relates to the sharing of advanced technology, such as quantum computing, artificial intelligence and advanced weaponry.
