Jack Whitehall and Roxy Horner are just hours away from saying ‘I do’ but their wedding preparations have been far from smooth sailing.
The standup comedian, 37, and the model, 34, have been together since 2020welcomed them first baby, Elsiein September 2023, and engaged in December 2024.
It wouldn’t be wrong to predict that their big day will be a lavish affair, as Jack has become one of the UK’s richest comics in recent years with an estimated net worth of £3.2 million.
However, even the wealthiest grooms can get planning LOT mistake.
Jack is, of course, the son of Michael and Hilary Whitehall, who often appear on his TV shows, leaving fans in stitches with their stylish quips and humor on shows like Netflix Documentary series Journeys with My Father.
And while the family – which includes Jack’s two siblings – are very close, the Bad Education star almost threw his and Roxy’s wedding into chaos by giving his mum the wrong dress code.
Then she had no choice but to look for a new dress for weeks until her son became a married man.
Former actress Hilary told him Daily Mail: ‘When I asked Jack what the dress code was a few weeks ago, he gave me the wrong dress code.
“I got the wrong dress, (then) the wedding invitation came with a completely different dress code.
As for how he responded to the mistake, Jack had a typical response.
“(Jack) said, ‘I’m sorry about that, Mom.’
Thankfully, Hilary was able to forgive him and joined the boisterous party of her bride-to-be celebrations earlier this month.
Accompanied by Roxy and her pals and dressed in head-to-toe sequins, Hilary also dined at a posh London restaurant, where things got messy before the group sang karaoke and took a dance lesson from the now ex-Strictly pro. Luba Mushtuk.
But the shenanigans didn’t stop there, as Roxy was surprised with a lap dance from a Magic Mike stripper who pulled the stunned bride onto the Hippodrome Casino stage from the front row.
How much for Jack’s deer willto call him lively would be an understatement, as he started drinking at 11am.
of last SNL UK host invited a League of their friends James Corden AND Jamie Redknapp for a wild night, which started with a leak drinks at The Devonshire pub before heading into Soho in high spirits for a private show at the iconic Box nightclub, ending the night in style with a late-night bout of mini-golf at Swingers.
His star-studded crew also included rugby ace Lawrence Dallaglio and David Gardner.
Reflecting on his ‘stupid’ decisions, Jack confessed to Radio X afterwards that his memory was a bit hazy, although, by his standards, it was all ‘pretty tame’.
‘(It was) relatively reasonable; it was pretty tame,” he told Chris Moyles. “I started with Guinness at about 11am, which wasn’t so wise.
“I have a kind of vague recollection of what happened in the evening.”
He then joked about it all ‘reporting to the Daily Mail the next day’ after he was baptized.
“So I have to wake up and literally get a shot-by-shot itinerary of what I was doing the night before.”
So with just hours to go until the exchange of vows, it’s all systems go, which has included an extensive beauty prep for blushing bride Roxy.)
Sharing an Instagram update after a facial, she also joked alongside a photo of her toes: ‘Excuse my wrinkled feet from sitting in the bathroom for too long, but why did I decide to shave my big toes for the first time in my life before the wedding?
‘Now I’ll have cuts that hurt you and nobody, literally; no one, not even my dog, will notice that I have smooth big toes.’
