A video showing some spheres being forced to leave a KelownaBC, the balcony on Doyle Avenue has sparked outrage and calls for action.
A group of men carrying pool noodles and other items could be seen herding the family of geese towards the ledge of the building.
Then the little birds could be seen falling four stories to the ground on the pavement.
Two adult geese then came down to check on their young.
Some were not moving, according to witnesses.

“I was just in complete shock,” witness Amy Ruth told Global News.
“I actually saw one of the donkeys hit the sunshade on the way down and ricochet to the ground and not move when it sat there and what can you do but stand there paralyzed. And I couldn’t get out into the street fast enough to yell to stop it.”
Tyler Andreasen also witnessed the incident.
“They’re migratory birds and they’re protected for a reason, so frankly, I think it came down to ignorance and just complete disregard for the lives of these animals,” he said.
“Just push them out into the street, all they were concerned about was cleaning up their property. That would be the last thing I would have done.”
Kelowna RCMP say they responded to a call of animals in the building and the person involved was educated on proper wildlife removal procedures.
