Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada region has achieved 35.95 percent progress in the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR-2026) of electoral rolls, with Booth Level Officers (BLOs) distributing 6,48,452 Enrollment Forms (EFs) to voters through a door drive.
Dakshina Kannada district has also made progress in digitization, with 13,287 forms digitized so far, accounting for 0.74 percent of the total. In Belthangady- 83074 enumeration forms have been distributed and 4619 have been digitized. In Moodbidri – 76998 EF, Mangaluru North- 91340 EF, Mangaluru South- 83868 EF, Mangalore- 82114 EF, Bantwal- 80068 EF, Puttur- 69923 EF, Sullia670 EF 81 have been distributed so far.
The door-to-door counting and digitization exercise is scheduled to be completed by July 29.
