The suggestions include canceling the $90 billion Alto rail project, scrapping the $742 million arms procurement program, cutting government consultants, cutting foreign aid spending, closing tax havens and reducing spending on the federal bureaucracy, which totaled $65.8 billion this year, according to the Conservatives.
