It’s a big week for Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) next week in Emmerdaleas his surgery date finally arrives.
While the surgery proves successful, his worry about the lasting effects of his cancer may continue to plague him, but when he learns a dark truth from Moira (Natalie J Robb), its focus is set straight Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) with an unquenchable thirst for revenge. Will Cain get the ultimate revenge?
Dr. Todd’s (Caroline Harker) evil continues to pervade the village as she finds herself moving forward with her new romance with Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick), continuing to terrorize Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Factory) and now turns her attention to Dingle Charity (Emma Atkins) with a vicious blackmail scheme. Has Todd finally met her match, or will Charity become another victim of her cruel machinations?
somewhere else, Wolf Bear (Joshua Richards) and Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) start work on Jai Sharmaand (Chris Bisson) warehouse, but his trauma is still very fresh, while Lewis Barton (Bradley Riches) comes to Bob Hopeand (Tony Audenshaw) rescue and Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) let something important slip.

Monday, May 11
It’s the day of Cain’s surgery and he and Moira try to act as each other’s pillars of strength; however, as he heads into surgery, Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn) panics. Although the surgery goes well, Cain finds it incredibly difficult to adjust to a catheter.
When Jacob is filled with guilt about how vicious his fight with Dr. Todd, he tries to broker peace and offers his condolences before her father’s funeral, and it looks like the two will be able to move on. later, Mary Goskirk (Louise Jameson) plays matchmaker between Todd and Vanessa, and Jacob’s faith in a new stability with Todd is shattered when she turns on him again, teasing him with her knowledge of a secret that could destroy his life.
Elsewhere, as Bear and Mandy go to work in the warehouse and the former wins a productivity contest, Jai inadvertently triggers it, triggering a traumatic flashback.
Tuesday, May 12
Charity’s blood runs cold when she learns of Todd’s hints about Jacob and warns him not to speak to him again. Later, Todd reveals to Vanessa that she has inherited her father’s house in Matlock, and when the subject of money comes up, she begins to make plans.
Cain, in a desperate panic over the possibility of permanent incontinence, fakes the pain to avoid being discharged from the hospital.

Meanwhile, Bear continues to fight and after being disciplined, hits Mandy and Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton), then flinches at Jai’s raised voice. While the girls jump to Bear’s defense, Jai takes a gentler approach.
Wednesday, May 13
Todd makes it clear to Charity that she wants money to keep her mouth shut about baby Leyla’s true origins, and when Charity later spots him kissing Vanessa, she’s more chilled. Todd later gives Charity the figure she asks for, £10,000, and calls it compensation for Jacob’s actions.
Bob’s panic at being a shortstop for his men’s darts team is eased when Lewis volunteers to play, boasting of his vast experience in the game.
Also, Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) intervenes to snap Cain out of his misery, sending him back home, though he struggles to recover.
Thursday, May 14
Cain was troubled when Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) and Robert visit, and there is a palpable tension between them and Moira.
Later, she is forced to admit that Robert planted the evidence that landed him in prison, and Cain remains bloodthirsty, calling out Sam Dingle (James Hooton) for a favor.
At the same time, Charity is crumbling under the pressure of Todd’s threats as she tries to secure the money needed to buy her silence.
Friday, May 15
As Robert tends to a curious noise in the barn, he finds himself knocked unconscious by Sam.
Waking up, strapped to a chair and confronted by a hammer-wielding Cain, Robert sweats bullets as Cain demands his pound of flesh.
Meanwhile, Manpreet’s loose lips mean a secret is revealed.
