Hassan: Three youths from Bengaluru were washed away when they went for a swim in a stream near Shettihalli Rosary Church in Hassan district on Sunday.
A group of 10 youth members from Girinagar and Byatarayanapura in Bengaluru had visited Dharmasthala.
On their way back they visited the Rosary Church in Shettihalli. Later, they went swimming in the nearby creek.
Manikanta (20), Milan Gowda (23) and Charan (20), were left out. The police, fire and emergency forces went to the scene and started the search.
While Manikanta’s body has been recovered, according to Goruru police, the search is on for the others.
