10 injured on Cathay flight from Australia that encountered turbulence


Ten people have been injured on a flight between Brisbane, Australia and Hong Kong that encountered turbulence.

Cathay Pacific’s CX156 arrived in Hong Kong at 6.45am on Saturday, with doctors on board to assess the condition of passengers and crew.

According to the major airline, four passengers and six cabin crew members suffered minor injuries, with eight taken to hospital.

A video posted on social media appears to show trash and food strewn across the plane’s floor.
