Chamarajanagar: Two persons were seriously injured when an LPG cylinder exploded at Railway Layout in Chamarajanagar on Tuesday.
Paramesh and his wife Jyothi are injured. They were given primary treatment at Chamarajanagar Institute of Medical Sciences and shifted to Mysuru for further treatment.
Boats and household appliances were destroyed in the accident. As soon as the cylinder exploded, neighbors rushed to their rescue and also put out the flames, averting a major tragedy. The city police went to the scene and registered a case.
