The Artemis 2 crew returned to Earth after a record-breaking lunar flyby

The crew will also have a unique opportunity to observe a solar eclipse from Orion. The sun will pass behind the moon from the spacecraft’s vantage point, giving astronauts the ability to image and study the sun’s outer atmosphere, known as the corona. They will also be able to see and take pictures of various planets, including Mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn and, of course, Earth.
