A teenager is accused of trying to kill his teacher with a kitchen knife in a Wales school was presented to the court.
The boy, who was 15 at the time, allegedly stabbed his teacher, Vicky Williams, in the head at Milford Haven Comprehensive School.
Prosecutors described the alleged incident on February 5 as a ‘murderous attack’ during the hearing at Swansea Crown Court yesterday.
The boy, who is now 16 and cannot be named for legal reasons, allegedly brought the blade to school hidden in his bag.
Christopher Rees KC told the court: ‘The prosecution say the defendant planned and launched a murderous attack.

“He stabbed Vicki Williams in the head.”
The boy has denied attempted murder, malicious wounding and unlawful wounding. He admitted he had a blade.
The alleged attack unfolded on Wednesday afternoon after the boy reportedly followed Ms Williams into the empty classroom, reports The Pembrokeshire Herald.
The pair reportedly ended up in an argument, with the boy allegedly pushing her into a chair as she tried to grab the knife.
Ms Williams suffered a stab wound to her head and defensive injuries to her hands, along with minor scrapes and cuts, the court was told.
She screamed for help and the teenager reportedly fled the scene.
The teacher was taken to hospital after emergency services descended on the Pembrokeshire school, which was placed on lockdown.
She was discharged later that evening.
Milford Haven School said the ‘disturbing’ incident had been ‘distressing’ for the community.
The school said in a statement at the time: ‘Following the very disturbing incident that took place at the school last week, we want to take a moment to acknowledge how distressing this has been for our entire community. Our priority now is to support students, staff and families as we move forward together.
“We want to assure you that Milford Haven School remains a safe and caring environment.
“We are incredibly proud of how bravely, calmly and maturely the pupils and staff responded and we will continue to JOBS closely with the police, local authority and our wider community to ensure everyone feels supported.’
