The day of judgment has come on Coronation Street. Will Driscoll (Lucas Hodgson-Wale) is testifying in court against his abuser Megan Walsh (Beth Nixon). But the manipulative predator still has a trick up his sleeve.

Megan has to be one of the most loathsome villains to tread the Cobblestones in years, and it’s an extremely crowded field.

The monster abused her position as an athletic trainer to isolate young Will from his family and friends, forcing the student into a sexually abusive relationship. It was a carefully calculated grooming campaign, so it was no surprise that Megan had did the same to other innocent victims.

Her sickening abuse caused a lot of collateral damage. When Will’s classmate Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) suspected the truth, Megan teased the poor guy so much that she drove him to on the brink of a mental breakdown.

Justice comes in many forms, and in this case, it came in the form of Corrie’s unlikely son- Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine).

Experiencing sexual abuse by an elderly woman first hand, Tim begged Will not to run away to Paris with Megan as they had planned and opened his eyes to the true nature of the abuse he had unknowingly suffered. It was a truly heartbreaking moment for Will when he found out that the woman he trusted the most was taking advantage of him all along, so with a heavy heart he walked into the police station and reported Megan to the police .

Although she was arrested, Megan is capable of abuse and is more than capable of getting into Will’s head from afar, as she proved this week with contacting Will via his game console, sending him a message with her love.
