Jeremy Clarkson has released an update for it cancer diagnosis, in a new video shared with his social media.
In the last series of Clarkson’s Farmthe presenter, 66, revealed that doctors had discovered a particularly ‘aggressive’ form of cancer.
However, he also said that he was caught early, and that he underwent surgery to remove part of his prostate.
By posting a follow up video to his Instagram confession on Saturday, Clarkson began: ‘The more observant among them will have noticed that I am not dead.
“Not only am I not dead, I’m very well,” he continued, joking: “My eyebrows in particular look very shiny.”
He concluded: “The reason I’m fine is because the doctor caught the prostate cancer early and they caught it early because I got tested.”
The video appeared to come directly from Clarkson’s farm and featured the first Top Gear host walking through what looked like one of his meadows.
“Thank you so much for all the kind messages I’ve had, but now, an announcement,” he captioned the post.
After sharing the good news, he continued to encourage his followers to ‘get tested’, even if that meant, ahem, embellishing symptoms to get a blood test.
“Test yourself,” he signed.
