Kate Middleton likely made a little girl’s year in Royal Ascot this week.
Princess of Wales arrived at the prestigious event in Berkshire on Wednesday in a carriage with her husband, Prince Williamand the Duke and Duchess of Richmond and Gordon.

While Kate seemed to miss the noise at first, she soon heard the young man call out “Princess Kate!” and turned to greet him.

And thanks social mediaa video of the sweet moment has already been shared online.
The footage shows Kate, who was wearing a yellow dress (reportedly costing £1,095 by label Roksanda) and a buttery yellow hat, appearing to make eye contact with the little girl, who was out on the run.
Kate then laughed and said: “I can still see you,” suggesting the shy tot was hidden from view, perhaps behind her parent.
After the adorable interaction, the crowd could also be heard laughing, before Kate returned to continue the conversation.
The video was posted on a social media account dedicated to the royal family and beyond TikTokit has since attracted almost 33,000 views.
She captioned it: ‘Princess Catherine: such a lovely soft touch. That simple warmth really melts the heart.’
Many royal fans were quick to take to the comments section to also praise the future queen for her humility.
‘Adorable!!!!! Kate loves kids,” wrote one person, while another said: “She’s so beautiful and kind.”
In addition to talking about the healthy moment, many others complimented Kate’s outfit.
“She’s stunning in that yellow dress,” said another fan, while someone else echoed: “That dress looks stunning on her.”
Kate and William weren’t the only royals in attendance at Ascot. King Charles and Queen Camilla were also seen at the event in the royal box.
The monarchs coordinated their outfits a bit, with Charles wearing a gray suit, cream waistcoat and silver blue tie, while Camilla wore a hat and floral dress in the same shades.
The king’s sister, Princess Anne, was also among the royal guests, not to mention Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh.
Kate’s mother, Carole Middleton, also appeared alongside her daughter-in-law, financial analyst Alizée Thevenet, who is married to her son, James Middleton.
Meanwhile. Former England manager Gareth Southgate was pictured laughing with the Princess of Wales at one point.
Also having a seat in the royal box, Sir Gareth now enjoyed race day with the royal family.
