Bradbury said the incident is believed to be contained and there is no further risk to the public.

Supt. Jack Gurr, unit commander for the 31st Division, said in an interview that the area where the incident occurred is normally quiet.

“We rarely come in here for any real problems; there are very few concerns in this area, and so this is a very alarming situation for us,” Gurr said.

As police continue their investigation, Bradbury issued a warning to the suspects.

“To the people responsible for this murder, get a lawyer and turn yourself in,” Bradbury said. “Our investigators are actively following up on information.”
