The air defense of the United Arab Emirates has today captured 3 ballistic missiles, 8 drones from Iran


Abu Dhabi: The United Arab Emirates’ air defense systems intercepted three ballistic missiles and eight unmanned aerial vehicles launched by Iran on March 21, according to the Ministry of Defence.

Since the start of open Iranian aggression, the UAE’s air defenses have included 341 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles and 1,748 UAVs.

These attacks have resulted in the martyrdom of 2 members of the armed forces while performing their national duty, as well as 6 victims of Pakistani, Nepali, Bangladeshi and Palestinian nationalities.

A total of 160 people were also injured, with injuries ranging from mild, moderate to severe.

The injured included nationals of the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, Philippines, Pakistan, Iran, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, Yemen, Uganda, Eritrea, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Comoros, Turkey, Iraq, Nepal, Nigeria, Oman, Jordan, Palestine, Sri Lanka, Ghana and Palestine.

The Ministry of Defense affirmed that it remains fully prepared and ready to face any threat and will resolutely face any attempt to undermine the security of the state in a way that guarantees the protection of its sovereignty, security and stability, as well as preserves its national interests and capabilities.
