In other words, each of the women, Rekha, Jaya, Sushma (a sharp nod to the old washing powder ad that echoed through the household at one point), are seen as heartless, evil, manipulative women, with society pitying ‘poor men’. Our host, Shrivardhan Trivedi of Sansani fame, parodies himself and his crime show, depicting the vices of all women. They are smiling, confident, men are attracted to them and this is always enough to embarrass a woman. Jaya is believed to have stolen someone else’s groom and Sushma was trolled for hugging a man. The man runs away, but Sushma does not. Society’s hypocrisy and double standards reverberate throughout the film.
