President Donald Trump said Iran’s latest missile attack on Israel complicates ongoing negotiations, but expressed optimism that a deal is close.
Speaking on Fox News, Trump said: “You’ve fired your missiles, that’s enough. Get back to the table and make a deal.” He added that an agreement could be signed as early as Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday of this week.
Trump also criticized Israel’s airstrikes in Beirut, saying he was “not happy about it,” underscoring his concern about escalating regional tensions.
