Fraser Health says services at Mission Memorial Hospital’s emergency department will be temporarily suspended due to “physician staffing challenges” until Monday morning.
Fraser Health says in a statement that the service disruption will last from 5pm on Sunday until 8am on Monday morning.

He says the move will mean anyone already waiting to see a doctor at 5pm will be seen before their shift ends at 11am.
The health authority says nurses will still be on site to provide patients with basic care and will also help with possible transfers to another hospital for those who need urgent care.
Fraser Health says it is working with BC Emergency Health Services to refer patients to other facilities if they require a higher level of care.
Fraser Health says people with potentially life-threatening illnesses, such as chest pain, difficulty breathing or heavy bleeding, should call 911 and will be taken to the nearest available and appropriate facility.
