Kathmandu, however, continued to oppose New Delhi’s bilateral agreement with Beijing on the travel of pilgrims from India to Kailash Mansarovar in China’s Tibet Autonomous Region through the Lipulekh Pass, which Nepal has consistently claimed as part of its territory.
