Three-day Mysuru Travel Mart from June 5


Mysuru: The fifth edition of ‘Mysuru Travel Mart 2026’ (MTM) will be held from June 5 to 7 at the Jagannath Center for Arts and Culture (JCAC), in Vijayanagar, Mysuru.

The event is being organized by the Mysuru Travel Association (MTA) in association with the Union Ministry of Tourism, Karnataka Tourism Department, Mysuru Hotel Owners Association, Skal International Mysuru and GRS Fantasy Park.

Briefing reporters in Mysuru on Monday, the organizers said the exhibition will be inaugurated on June 5 at 2:30 pm by Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, State Tourism Minister HK Patil, Mysuru district in-charge minister HC Mahadevappa, Mysore-Kodagu Krimaraja M. Gouda.

Panel discussions

On June 6, a series of panel discussions will be held, featuring senior journalists, prominent actors and sustainability experts. The sessions will cover topics like ‘Media and Tourism’, ‘Development of Mysuru Airport and its impact on Tourism’, ‘Film City in Mysuru’ and ‘Tourism and Sustainable Development’.

“Skal Mysuru International Tourism and Hospitality Night” will be held on the same evening. A total of 15 awards will be given to hotels, resorts, tour operators and outstanding individuals who contribute directly or indirectly to the growth of the tourism sector. The honoring ceremony is scheduled for June 7.

Global participation

The three-day traveling mart will host over 100 stalls, open to the public from 10am to 8pm. Exhibitors from various regions across India, including Kodagu, Jaipur, Rajasthan, Kerala, Bhubaneswar, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir, along with international tourism operators, will be participating.

Organizers added that the event aims to put Mysuru and Karnataka on the global tourism map, expecting a total participation of over 1,000 delegates and thousands of visitors. Entry to the exhibition is free for everyone.
