Dear, sweet Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton), EastEndersIts own ray of sunshine.
Things haven’t been easy for her lately, though, not since she gained a brand new friend in the form of creepiness. Bea Pollard (Ronni Ancona)whose presence in Walford is, technically, due to Honey herself.
Attending a high school reunion together Linda Carter (Kelly Bright) brought them into Bea’s orbit, and after a case of cross-stitched bags, Bea found herself being picked up by Linda, possibly on a mission to redeem choosing it back to their school days.
When Bea set out to find work in Shesh, a rejection from Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) pushed her to the Minute Mart, where she faked a robbery, impressing the manager Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota) and getting himself a job, along with Honey.
As she sets out to get closer to Honey, she sees her chance after being injured at work and coldly fired by Vinny and Suki Panesar-Unwin (Balvinder Sopal).
With the help of a stolen bottle of vino, Bea began to hatch a plot that would see Honey sue Suki for a absolute wealthfirst for negligence in the workplace and, when Honey drunkenly discovered that Suki had once tried to kiss himfor sexual harassment.
When Honey composes an aggressive email to Suki and accidentally sends it to her, both Honey and Bea find themselves out of a job. Bea, however, managed to get Honey back in her position, but couldn’t get her job back.
Filled with guilt over Bea’s loss of income and depressed by her feelings of alienation in Elaine Peacockand (Harriet Thorpe) Boutique hotel/not B&B, Honey and Billy agreed to let her house sit until they went away on vacation.
While Bea has applied for a credit card on behalf of Honey, Billy’s uneasiness in her presence is heightened upon his return from vacation without Honey.
The following week sees Honey return home, where she is promptly smothered by an overbearing Bea.
Clearly worried, Billy pushes Honey about what’s wrong and she reveals that she thinks she’s going into menopause. Between them, they agree that Bea needs to leave, however, when Honey gently delivers the message, she is completely unaware that a furious Bea goes straight to McClunky and trash the place.
