“We are working with all countries that have nationalities that are on board to discuss plans for the safe travel of those patients home once they land, once they are medically assessed,” said WHO epidemiologist Dr. Maria Van Kerkhove during the press conference. “This has to be done very carefully, but we are working with countries on that further transition at home.”
