The sun is setting Saskatoonwith temperatures above 20 degrees.
As the grass turns greener and the trees begin to bud, it’s starting to feel like spring. With the warm weather, golf course they are finally starting to open their doors.
Golfer Shoji Gaboury is ready for the weather.
“Honestly, it’s a bit of a privilege. It’s been cold winter times and now we get to play golf, so it’s a nice time,” Gaboury said.

For dedicated golfers, they’ve got golf simulators and domes. Now that they can play in the sun, it makes all the difference.
Golfers Don Tomkinson and Dax Zary say the season is something they’ve been looking forward to.
“Honestly, it’s just awesome, it’s been really cool. I’ve hit the golf dome, the golf cart, but it just doesn’t compare,” Zary said.
“I did a lot of indoor golf so I wasn’t quite ready, but once it started to warm up before the last snowfall, I was ready. That last one really irritated one guy a little bit,” Tomkinson said.
Many of the private courses have yet to open, but as temperatures continue to rise above freezing, courses across the province will open soon.
