Rosenior warned his team that they do not belong at Stamford Bridge if they cannot handle the pressure and criticism.

“I’m not throwing anybody under the bus,” he said. “It was an unacceptable performance and I am on top of that.

“We are playing for Chelsea, I am managing Chelsea, the criticism and pressure comes from the football club.

‘If you can’t handle that, then you shouldn’t be here. It’s that simple. This is something that needs to be addressed this week, but it also needs to be addressed in the long term.

“We have to make the right decisions for the team for a massive game on Sunday and we will do our best to turn it around.
