Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem said on Friday that his group was ready for a long confrontation with Israel as the two sides fought another war in Lebanon.
“We have prepared ourselves for a long confrontation and God willing, they (the Israelis) will be surprised on the battlefield,” Qassem said in a televised address, adding that “enemy threats do not scare us.”
“This is an existential battle, not a limited or simple one.”
