Singapore: More than 20 ships passed Strait of Hormuz On Saturday, data from shipping analytics firm Kpler showed the highest number of ships crossing the waterway since March 1.
1. Among the ships that passed through on Saturday, five of them loaded cargo from Iran for the last time, ranging from petroleum products to metals. Three of them are LPG carriers with one each going to China and India.
2. The Panama-flagged tanker Crave, carrying LPG from the United Arab Emirates, is heading for Indonesia.
3. Two of the three tankers – Act A and Athina – carrying refined products loaded from Bahrain and heading to Mozambique and Thailand respectively.
4. Liberian-flagged tanker Navig8 Macallister is shipping about 500,000 barrels of UAE oil to Ulsan in South Korea.
5. The very large Liberian-flagged crude oil carrier Fpmc C Lord is carrying about 2 million barrels of Saudi oil and is heading to Mailiao port in Taiwan.
6. The Indian-flagged Desh Garima, loaded with about 780,000 barrels of UAE Das crude oil, is heading to Sri Lanka.
7. The Qatari fertilizer ship Ruby is heading to the United Arab Emirates.
8. The tanker Merry M is carrying a cargo of petroleum coke from Saudi Arabia to Ravenna in Italy.
