“Applicants are advised that the issuance of new passports may take 10 to 15 business days from the date of application until further notice,” the agency said.
The DFA has assured that it is working closely with the third party service provider responsible for printing e-passports to resolve the delays.
Additionally, efforts are being made to stabilize operations and return processing times to normal as soon as possible.
