Saskatoon’s Easter weekend was marred by tragedy after two separate incidents — a house fire and a fatal rollover on Highway 16 — claimed the lives of two residents.
Friday, fire crews responded to an incident in the 400 Block of Avenue I South. While extinguishing the flames, the firefighters located a resident, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire. Footage obtained by Global News shows no damage to the exterior of the home as police remained at the scene until Saturday afternoon.
