Ryan Cerki was ordered to be removed Hugo EkitikeS ‘ Liverpool shirt in Manchester City bench during them FA Cup tie on Saturday.

Pep Guardiola‘s team won 4-0 against Liverpool, with Erling Haaland scoring a hat-trick while Antoine Semenyo found the net in the second half as well.

Meanwhile, Cherki had another impressive game for City before being substituted in the 71st minute.

The midfielder somehow managed to switch shirts with his France team-mate Hugo Ekitike before the final whistle.

After taking his place on the bench, Cherki took off his City shirt and then changed into Ekiti’s shirt.

However, someone sat down after Cherki said a word and the £30.45m midfielder quickly took off Ekitike’s shirt.

Cherki also faced criticism during the Carabao Cup final when he started taking shots during the 2-0 win against Arsenal at Wembley.
