Ellie Crampsie was arrested after more than 17kg of drugs were allegedly found in her luggage as she returned to the UK from a holiday in. Thailand last year.
The 23-year-old pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of cannabis to others on March 26 at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.
Crampsie, from Broomhouse, Glasgow, runs her own beauty business and also promotes events and nights out on the town to thousands of social media followers.
Emma Laing, prosecuting, told the court Crampsie was stopped by Border Force officers in April last year after flying to the Scottish capital from Thailand via Paris.

Ms Laing said: “She was asked the usual questions by the officer and she confirmed that she had traveled from Thailand.
“Her trunk was opened and a number of vacuum packs were inside.”
The court heard she was found to have 17 separate sealed packages of cannabis with between £115,000 and £151,000 of the drug in total in her suitcase.
Crampsie’s defense lawyer said the woman had ‘the benefit of the support of her parents who attended court today’.
Sheriff Graeme Watson said: “I will defer sentencing in this case to allow the court to take some social criminal justice JOBS ratio and a limitation of the evaluation of freedom.
“In the meantime, I will continue your bail conditions.
“This should not be a prejudgment of what comes next, all sentencing options will be open to me next time, do you understand that?”
Crampsie’s case follows that of a young mother avoiding prison after she tried to smuggle £285,000 worth of cannabis into the UK from Thailand.
Poppie Kudieersky, 22, claimed traffickers would have killed her child if she did not agree to be a drug mule.
She was arrested after customs officials in Manchester Airport stopped a companion with whom he had been traveling and seized two suitcases with 28.5 kg of drugs.
