UAE responds to Iranian missiles and drones, residents warned safe
Residents of the United Arab Emirates have received a mobile alert from the Ministry of Defense confirming that the situation in the country is currently safe, following earlier warnings of possible missile threats.
The message, sent across the UAE, thanked residents for their cooperation and assured the public that normal activities can now resume.
Authorities urged residents to remain vigilant, follow safety guidelines and monitor official channels for any updates.
Earlier, the ministry said the UAE’s air defense systems were actively responding to incoming missile and drone threats launched by Iran amid ongoing regional hostilities.

Iran fires more missiles at Israel
The Israeli military said early Saturday that Iran fired missiles aimed at the country.
The latest rockets follow an earlier attack that killed 1 person and injured more across Israel late Friday and Saturday.
Sirens went off in northern Israel, along the border with Lebanon, where rocket and drone attacks by Hezbollah have been constant during the war.
UAE air defenses intercept missiles, drone threats from Iran
United Arab Emirates Air Defense are engaging with the incoming missile and UAV threat from Iran. The UAE Ministry of Defense (MOD) claims that the sounds heard are the result of missiles being engaged by Air Defense Systems and that the fighters are intercepting cruise missiles and UAVs.
The UAE’s air defense and gunners are currently dealing with missile and drone attacks coming from Iran, and the Ministry of Defense confirms that the sounds heard in various areas of the country are the result of air defense systems intercepting ballistic missiles, and gunners intercepting drones and mobile aircraft.

10 US service members, several damaged supply planes at Saudi air base
An Iranian missile attack injured at least 10 US service members and damaged several aircraft at a military base in Saudi Arabia, according to two US officials familiar with the situation.
Two of the bodies were seriously injured, one of the officials said. The attack on Prince Sultan Air Base damaged several US refueling aircraftsaid the officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive military matters.
The strike, which involved an Iranian missile as well as drones, comes a day after President Donald Trump said Iran had “disappeared” and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said “never in recorded history has a nation’s military been neutralized so quickly and so effectively.”
Satellite images that appeared to show damage to the plane in the latest attack were posted online. The attack was reported earlier by The Wall Street Journal.
The IDF launches a new wave of attacks against Hezbollah targets in southern Beirut
The Israeli military says it has launched a “wave of attacks targeting Hezbollah’s terrorist infrastructure in Beirut” and issued an evacuation warning for several neighborhoods in the southern suburbs.
Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) also reported Israeli attacks in the Tahouitet Al-Ghadir area of south and east Beirut.
Trump says he truly believes he is a peacemaker
The president made the comment when asked what he would like his legacy to be. He responded by saying that “I don’t think it’s fair to say this, but I’d like my legacy to be as a great peacemaker.”
He added: “I really believe I’m a peacemaker. It doesn’t look like it now, but I think I’m a peacemaker.”
Trump says economy will take off like a ‘rocket ship’ after Iran war
The president said in his speech at the FII Priority Summit in Miami that economic growth will pick up once the war ends, suggesting the world will benefit from Iran no longer pursuing nuclear weapons or using terrorist projects.
“And I think you’re going to see a rocket ship because we’re not going to have that dark cloud hanging over our heads,” Trump said.
The president dismissed recent declines in the stock market, saying it “hasn’t been that bad” and that he thought oil prices would be higher than they are now.
Turkey will hold regional talks on the conflict with Iran this weekend
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced Friday night that he will meet with his Egyptian, Saudi and Pakistani counterparts in Pakistan over the weekend regarding the war in Iran.
Fidan was asked about Turkey’s role in the war during an interview with private news channel A Haber, where he said telephone diplomacy was ongoing and that they were currently in the middle of a “difficult and painful” process.
He also added that Turkey was working to prevent an escalation of mistrust between Iran and its Gulf neighbors, who are under attack from Tehran.
“This is exactly the scenario that Israel wants, for Muslim countries to engage in a long-term regional war,” Fidan said.
IAEA investigates damage caused by attack on Iran facility
The IAEA is examining damage caused by a strike at Iran’s Shahid Rezayee Nejad yellowcake production facility in Yazd province. The agency said in X that no increase in radiation levels has been reported abroad.
Earlier on Friday, the US and Israel launched multiple strikes on industrial and nuclear sites in Iran, just hours after Israel threatened to “escalate and expand” its campaign against Tehran.
Iran vows ‘high price’ for strikes on industrial facilities
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Friday that Israel hit two of his country’s largest steel plants, a power plant and nuclear facilities, among other infrastructure that was hit earlier in the day.
“Israel claims to have acted in coordination with US Attack, contradicts POTUS extended deadline for diplomacy. Iran will demand a heavy price for Israeli crimes,” he wrote in X.
