two EastEnders‘ pregnancies become tumultuous next week, like the real paternity of Penny Branningand (Kitty Castledine) seems to be revealed, while Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) goes into premature labor.
When Penny learns that her pregnancy is bigger than she thought, she is shocked to realize that it could be the baby Harry Mitchelland (Elijah Holloway) and no Vinny Panesarand (Shiv Jalota).
When Nicola finds out what’s going on, she asks for a DNA test, but as she goes into labor herself, has Penny avoided discovering the truth?
like George Knight (Colin Salmon) prepares for the launch of his new restaurant, Knight Fusion, Nicola tries to hide her worries from him, but when she misses the launch party due to contractions, how will he and Nicola handle the very early arrival of their baby?
Elsewhere, the Trueman family worries about the pressure CPS is putting on Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker) can break it, Zack Hudson (James Farrar) and Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) struggle to control their attraction to each other and the struggle between them Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) and Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) rages.
Josh Goodwin (Joshua Vaughan) also wonders if it’s time to reunite with his twin sister Jasmine Fisher (Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness).
Did all this leave you a little thirsty? Don’t worry, we’re pouring all of them tea in our guide for next week!

As Vinny looks to secure funding for Penny’s shop, she attends their first baby scan alone and is shocked to learn that her pregnancy is further along than expected, but continues to add when Vinny finally arrives.
Completely shocked, Penny admits to Lauren and Oscar Branning (Jacqueline Jossa and Pierre Counihan-Moullier) that if the baby was conceived before New Year’s Eve, then Vinny cannot be the father, making the baby Harry’s.
Harry notices that Nicola is confused at the introduction of Knight Fusion and she explains that she didn’t feel the baby move. Harry and Gina Knight (Francesca Henry) take her to hospital, where a distraught Nicola is told the baby is fine.
Elsewhere, Josh is surprised by Zoe Slater’s (Michelle Ryan) intensity as he becomes more drawn to Patrick, who becomes familial when CPS asks him to record a video statement for Jasmine’s trial.

After trying to sidestep the issue, Penny admits that she slept with Harry before he went to rehab with her cousins, but she really believes the baby is Vinny.
When a run-in with Suki Panesar-Unwin (Balvinder Sopal) drives Nicola to her defense, Vinny finds Penny with good news: he’s secured six months’ rent on her shop.
At the hospital, Harry admits to Nicola that he slept with Penny last year. Deeply suspicious and determined to uncover the truth, Nicola tells Penny that she must take a DNA test and, if she refuses, she will tell Vinny and Harry everything.
Meanwhile, Mark Fowler Jr (Stephen Aaron-Sipple) remains suspicious of Vicki and Zack, especially when he reconsiders her offer for him and Barney Mitchell (Lewis Bridgeman) to move in with them.

Struggling with losing a seat to her campaign, George offers Knight Fusion to Elaine. When she brags to Ian, the two end up in a fight.
Nicola is laser-focused on Penny and demands that she take the DNA test immediately. Penny asks Lauren and Oscar for help before going head-to-head with Nicola.
After two trading blows, Nicola is covered in pain but, despite Harry’s protests, refuses to go to hospital. As George celebrates the launch of Knight Fusion, Nicola is hit hard by contractions.
Also, CPS continues to push Patrick, more bad feeling grows between Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) and Bea Pollard (Ronni Ancona), and Zack and Vicki’s sexual tension continues to simmer.
Thursday, April 2
George panics as guests flood the opening of Knight Fusion, while Nicola is conspicuous by her absence. Heading home, Harry finds Nicola in agony.
At the hospital, Nikola is forced to undergo an emergency caesarean section and gives birth to a premature baby girl. As Nicola is forced to isolate the baby due to bleeding and flu symptoms, George’s heart melts as he watches his little girl through an incubator.
A typically caustic remark from Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) about Jasmine wounds Josh, and he begins to think it might be time for the twins to reunite.
Elsewhere, Bea gains the upper hand over Billy, shutting him down with ease when he comments on her frivolous spending.
