The final of the Red Bull Dance Your Style global competition will be held on October 24 in Switzerland.

Sunday’s competition outside the Hong Kong Cultural Center saw 16 of the city’s top dancers face off in a crowd-voting format.

A live DJ played mainstream music for the contestants at random, leaning on hip-hop and pop songs.

Bobby, or Lam Yuet-wing, was the Asia-Pacific champion at the Czech Republic’s Street Dance Kemp in 2016. Popping is known for hip-hop-influenced robotic moves.

He also qualified for the Dance Your Style Global Final in 2023, where South Korean star Waackxxxy took the crown.
