Khanna appeared on NBC News’ “Meet the Press,” where host Kristen Welker read a statement about the incident, in which Khanna was traveling to a small Palestinian village in the southern West Bank on Wednesday when gunmen blocked the road and began cursing him and his team and kicking the minibus they were traveling in.
